A New Project!!!! (Or Two)

Well, two, actually!


First of all, Our Illustrator, Shayne Hood, is doing sketches for a cool new product.

(Frizzy is a little embarrassed about being drawn in her underclothes, but she still likes the attention!)

We have all told her that we will soon be appearing in our underthings, too. That made her feel better.  A little anyway.

Secondly, Deedy (that's Dorothea Jensen to you) says she will be writing down our vacation adventures as soon as we get back to the North Pole.

And what a time we've had!

Deedy apologizes that she has not been able to help us write our posts lately because she has been too busy working to get her other book, A Buss from Lafayette, ready for release. (That will be about a year from now.) Her publisher, BQB Publishing, asked her to make a few changes, so she has been writing away on it, a big grin on her face!

We try not to scold her for wasting time writing about characters who do NOT have pointy ears.

We try.

But we fail.

Deedy is Scouting for US!!!

As we told you before, we have been looking for a place where we Izzies can go on vacation and blend in.  We also told you that Deedy (that's Dorothea Jensen to you) wanted to come with us to escape the North Pole-like weather where she lives.

Well, she went one better than that: she already Went Warm, plus she looked around for a possible place for us to go.  Without her.

Look what she found:

We wondered if this meant that S.C. (or a statue of him) was in jail.

But she says that the railing is there just to keep S.C.'s statue safe from graffitti-ers.

We said she should tell whomever is in charge that there is little risk of defacement because even graffitti-ers don't want Santa mad at them.  They want full stockings on Christmas morning, too.

We think.

In any case, Deedy's suggestion is a good one.

So here is a close up of S.C. in all his glory!  We are all chuckling at the fact Santa is wearing sunglasses!

Santa says, however, that we all have to get 'em before we leave on vacation.

Now we are all hard at work getting our special safety seats ready before we take off for Someplace Warm!

Izzy Elf Doll Testing Lab 2!

So Deedy put her West Coast Izzy Doll Testers to work testing Frizzy 2.0.

Frizzy 2.0 seems to be quite a hit!

The Lab Testing Personnel, young and old, agree that Frizzy 2.0 is not only huggable, but kissable!!

 

The testers also really LOVE the Frizzy Accessorites!

Needless, to say, we Izzies can hardly wait to try hugging and kissing the Frizzy doll ourselves. 

And there is a rumor that there will soon be Tizzy, Blizzy, and Dizzy dolls.  Woo hoo!

Sorry, Deedy. We are NOT convinced!

So Deedy (that's Dorothea Jensen to you) REALLY wants to come on vacation with us Izzy Elves and S.C.

She keeps sending pix like this one showing how where she lives might as well be the North Pole.

We like Deedy, we do, but really, her snow is NOTHING compared to what we Izzies see everyday.

We can only say that Deedy should get back to us when the snow covers the doors and windows completely.


She says this will be happening soon.

I guess even honorary Izzy Elves have a harder time living with snow than we REAL Izzies!

If We Don't Talk About This, We Might Pop With Excitement!

Ok, Ok.  We know we promised not to talk about our pageview stats because it is really boring for anybody except us Izzies.

However, we passed a HUGE milestone recently and have to brag at least a little bit.


 

But it is even more exciting to see where these pageviews came from!

The answer?

ALL OVER THE WORLD!!!
 

We don't know how accurate this is (for example we know for certain that some people in Canada and Australia have read our blog, and those places aren't showing up) but it is still VERY EXCITING to think about!

We also keep asking WHO ARE YOU PEOPLE AND WHY ARE YOU READING OUR BLOG????

The (Extremely Curious) Izzy Elves

The Vote Has Been TAKEN!! We're GOING ON VACATION!!

So we all met in the Izzy Elf Board Room to discuss ideas for our upcoming vacation.  (Here's a glimpse of part of that room.)

At the end of a Very Long Presentation by Bizzy (everthing he says is ALWAYS very long) about possible destinations, we have made our choice.

It fulfills all our requirements:

1. It's someplace South.
2. It's someplace Warm.
3. It's someplace where we can all blend in to avoid being mobbed by over-enthusiastic children.


We are starting to get organized, and hope to leave soon! (First we have to make safety seats for all eight of us so no one falls out of Santa's sleigh on the way!)

Hooray!!!!

(Deedy, the honorary Izzy Elf, wants to come, too.  She says that so much snow has been falling where she lives, she might as well be living at the North Pole! Santa says "We'll see.")

Woo Hoo!! We Izzies (and S.C.) are Going On VACATION!

What's more, we're going SOUTH. That means WARM!

(Actually, anywhere we GO would be south. Since we are at the North Pole. Of course.)

Anyway, Bizzy has been searching the internet for a place we can visit where we would be able to BLEND IN.  (S.C. is worried that otherwise we might be mobbed by overly enthusiastic children.)

So Bizzy has found someplace that might just fill the bill.  S.C. is taking a look at Bizzy's data and then we will all meet in the conference room and vote on the plan.

SO THRILLING.

We do love our home, but you know, when the snow gets so deep that we Izzy Elves can't walk outside without it coming to our eyebrows (or higher, in Frizzy's case) we need a BREAK from winter. 

And now we just might have one!
