Barouches EVERYWHERE!

Deedy (Dorothea Jensen to you) just got back from a vacation several thousand miles away from home in which she stayed in a log lodge built in 1923.  She found this picture on the wall inside:

We all looked at it for awhile, then figured out what it was.

• Four wheels          
• Low sides
• Two double seats facing each other,
• A folding top that only protects the two passengers sitting in the rear seat

Hmmm, we thought.  It's a BAROUCHE!!

Rats! Why couldn't it least have been a sleigh. Maybe that would have reminded Deedy of us Izzy Elves instead of that old Lafayette guy she keeps talking and writing about!
